Why do we like this?
To be honest, Cape Lion caught my attention because I live in Cape Town, and "Cape" is the first part of their name. Stupid, right? Sometimes that's just the way it works...
"Brother" is the Stockholm band's latest single, following up an 8-month old single called "Jennie." Beyond that, the band appear to only have one other song to their name. And now this one, of course.
Together, Carl-Johan Sevedag and Martin Wiklund manage to craft synth-heavy, alt-rock tracks that have a slight 80s touch. The production is of the highest quality, the hooks are catchy, and I'm generally a fan of the many layers. Definitely keeping an eye on this one.
