Why do we like this?

Canyon City is the brainchild of writer and producer Paul Johnson who has been able to grow a sturdy fanbase through his indie-folk sound and minimalist production. Some of you may've caught his single "Find You" on Spotify.

"Our Way" is his latest, which he describes as being about "home beyond the boundaries of a place - the relationships, experiences, and passions that create that feeling, and the desire for belonging in the midst of life’s explorations, and the arc and beauty of that search.”

"Our Way" sneaks up on you like an evening breeze, with its gentle guitar licks complementing Johnson's steady vocals. The track was written, recorded and produced by Johnson in his Nashville studio.

“Our Way” is a track off of Canyon City’s new album Constellation, out Friday 10/6.
