Why do we like this?
Nothing like releasing a single to gain attention for your new album when...wait, what's that? You don't have an album title or release date planned? What's up with that, California Wives?
Contrary to their name, California Wives are based out of Chicago (the talking point of practically every blogger covering this band). Their sound has a little bit of shoegaze, a little bit of indie pop, and a whole lot of potential.
This is my first taste of their music, and while it's not a full album...I suppose it doesn't really matter. A single is a single, and this one's quite good.
