Why do we like this?

I'm very thankful that this track is in my presence considering Cal Wilson has no social media presence (that I know of) including music streaming apps outside of Bandcamp and Soundcloud.

Hailing from Vancouver, Washington (Washington represent. That's where I'm at, y'all), Cal Wilson boasts an Elliott Smith type of vibe. "Cult Of Love" is a guitar-driven track draped with wispy, light vocals compliments of the chef himself. This is the leading single of fresh album, Cult of Love, that you can listen to here. With such great production quality, you'd probably be surprised to hear that he recorded this magical project in his living room.

Here's what he had to say about the writing of this album:

I wrote a bunch of songs about what it feels like to want to bring the whole world together to fix all our problems but all the while having trouble just keeping my kitchen clean.

Sit back, relax, and turn up the volume on this one. Cheers xx.
