Some artists have a flair for the dramatic, whether they are commanding audiences with their voice or simply the way that they carry themselves. I don't think it's really something that can be taught, but when artist has it, we just can't help but be drawn to them.
One of theseartists is Sweden's Cajsa Siik. Armed with a strong voice and willingness to share her soul through music, Siik looks poised to join the ranks of other artistslike Florence Welch as she completes her second album Contra, and her latest single, "Relentless Delight."
Kicking off with staccato piano chords filled in with some sparse drum fills, "Relentless Delight" leaves plenty of room for Siik's silvery yet forceful vocals as the beat accentuates her everysyllable. All of this builds up to a chorus that soars with indie pop goodness as lightly affected synthesizers that will remind youof Brit pop's heyday.
"Relentless Delight" will be available for purchase come September 1, so make your way over to her website in the meantime.
