Caitlyn Scarlett War Cry

This is a first for me – writing about a track that has a lion roaring in it. Such is the out-and-out wild and beastly nature of this latest track from Caitlyn Scarlett.

Caitlyn had a very popular song called “Bad Love,” released earlier this year. She’s backing it up with another track in the build-up to an EP release in early 2015.

Crickets, lion roars, and lyrics that promise "dinosaurs and carnivores, coming for ya!" – it’s the stuff of kid’s nightmares. Lucky Halloween is over for another year. See what you think of this track – I’m tipping you’ll either like Caitlyn’s vocals and its overall uniqueness, or otherwise. Either way, I applaud this 19-year-old for showing flare, boldness, and a willingness to take risks.
