If you're in need of some easy listening, alternative folk band Cai.ro is here for you. "Addict" is the first song off of their debut EP titled Young Love, which was released just over a year ago. I know what you're thinking. "Meh, out with the old and in with the new" -- but I can assure you that these up-and-coming Torontonians deserve a listen. In anticipation for release of more recent material, we all have to be patient. In the meantime, "Addict" has a cinematic quality, tugging on all sorts of emotional strings.
Bandmates Nate Daniels, Matt Sullivan, Caitlin Grieve, Dante Berardi and Wooyoung Kim are behind the fantastically constructed EP, automatically making Toronto proud to call them their own. The coolest part? Cai.ro is a completely independent band and are currently unsigned. An even cooler fact? They all met each other on Craigslist.
