Cage The Elephant Come A Little Closer

I can't say I know a whole lot about Cage The Elephant, so I'm going to use this short write-up to get myself into the loop.

First up, it looks like they're gearing up to release a new album, as evidenced by the unveiling of this single "Come A Little Closer" yesterday. It'll be titled Melophobia, and is tentatively set to be available on October 8th.

Based out of Bowling Green, Kentucky, the indie rock quintet have released three albums to date, starting with their 2008 self-titled album Cage The Elephant. If asked, I'd have to compare their sound to artists like Portugal. The Man, Cold War Kids, Electric Guest and maybe even Broken Bells -- certainly good company!
