Why do we like this?
One of my favorite producers, Cadenza, has finally made his return with an absolute head-turner of a track. It's the kind of track that if it dropped while you finally got to the front of the bar after a 20 minute wait, you'd abandon ship and head right back out to the dance floor.
Collaborating with the Black Butter-affiliated SYV, Cadenza has served up a tantalizing taste of Brazil with some glitchy, manipulated Portuguese vocal samples strewn over a deep rumbling bass line. The whistling of flutes acting like a mythological siren lure you in from start to finish, leaving you wanting more.
