If you're in the mood for a dark, brooding pop rock track, make sure to check out this one from Sydney/Melbourne act
Bushwalking. Originally formed as a solo project for Ela Stiles, the trio (including Nisa Venerosa and Karl Scullin) quickly realized their combined creativity was much more effective, and Bushwalking was formed. After releasing a debut album,
First Time, last year, the guys have recently completed their sophomore LP, due out this September (via Chapter Music).
The hypnotic "No Enter" is the first single off the upcoming album. A slow-burner in every way possible, it's one of those tracks that sucks you in, powerless. The vocal interplay between Stiles and Venerosa, combined with the cutting guitar work from Scullin, create a sultry, psychedelic soundscape which smolders continuously, proving even more addictive with each listen.
This track comes with a warning -- if you go in, there's no telling when you'll come back out.
