Why do we like this?
BUOY is Sydney-based artist Charmian Kingston. She's also one of Australia's most innovative electronic acts going around at the moment.
No stranger to Indie Shuffle, Charmian consistently combines her vocals alongside interesting electronic elements. "Clouds & Rain" is the first single release off her upcoming EP Break.
It's a lovely, slow and intense build in this one. There's all kinds of interesting percussion happening too. Then bam! The song's done, or so you think. First time I heard this, I thought SoundCloud had skipped onto the next track. But no, it was a slow burning and very cool outro instead. Nicely done!
