I Miss The 70's, But Not The Person
A satirical narrative smashed into beautifully rendered 70's sounds makes for top-notch radio.
Not only is the satire of this track so immensely enjoyable, but it's also executed masterfully. "Smokin' Out The Window" is a track that takes you back to the 70's. It takes digital distortion, film grain, synth r&b, and drum lines and blends them into the ultimate time capsule smoothie. It's 6 o'clock prime time TV and the perfect radio show for a Saturday. Sure it's about the perfect little broken relationship, but it's just as enjoyable as the first 2 weeks.
It's tender, it's sweet and it's the best designed audio suite this side of the river.
