Sounds like:
Major Lazer,
Diplo,
A$AP Rocky
Why do we like this?
Over the weekend, Fools Gold alumni Danny Brown and Sleigh Bells teamed up for a couple of shows at New York's Terminal 5. If that wasn't epic enough, the two have also collaborated under the monkier of Brown Bells, recording two brand new tracks: the vicious "Dipping Demons" and old school flavored "Grown Up."
Of the two, "Dipping Demons" is the highlight, with both Brown and Sleigh Bells creating an upbeat and electric vibe without feeling contrived. The beat is frenetic and in your face, much like Sleigh Bell's early sound, with Brown's hyperactive lyrics about MDA as entertaining as ever.
While this is only a one off, there is enough chemistry to suggest these two could produce something great, so here's hoping we get a followup EP or album in the near future.
