We are not the first to post this song, I am aware of that. But, it doesn't really matter. The much anticipated collaboration between James Mercer (of The Shins) and DJ Danger Mouse, Broken Bells, have released their first track for free, and we'd be remiss not to point it out to you fellow blog-reading brethren. However, I can't help but feel slightly disappointed with "The High Road" "“ it's just not all that special. Yeah, we can hear James Mercer hit those high notes and Danger Mouse pound out some clean/slick production, but I was expecting something awesome and we got something "okay, what's next?"
