So if you’re a fan of Indie Shuffle, you know Brijean by now, but did you know they’re releasing an album on February 26th, 2021? Yup, Feelings is the name and it'll be released via Ghostly. Let’s get excited for this and less bummed out by our COVID filled present.
Now, let’s focus on their single, "Day Dreaming," for a bit; listen to it and dance in place while you read about this gorgeous song.
The percussion begins very subtlety at like 6 seconds in, and you start to get the feeling of it, then passed the 14 second mark the bass does this little “badda-dadda-dumdum” and it is on. My god is it a cool song.
It has a '70s disco feeling once it gets going, I’m pretty sure Deodato or Champagne King would be jealous of this tune. It is filled with cool, little details through out the song, like a mini shakers-break at 1:30 minutes in or that synth moment 2 minutes and 19 seconds in. This is a seriously good jam.
