Why do we like this?

Bridal Party's single "Fruitless" is a poignant yet pop-centric take on a bleak but realistic outlook on life.

The track hits the ground running with energetic drums and hyper-active guitar picking. The lyrics speak volumes on the current state of the world economy, but they composition of this track indicates a willful hope that there must be a silver lining somewhere. As cheerless as the song may be, you can't help but focus on the chipper instrumentation. And at the end of the day, it's nice to have that option. Politics aside, this track is clearly oozing with undeniable talent and relevance.
