Why do we like this?

This one gets me going. It's a homemade modern funk gem by Californian multi-instrumentalist and producer Brian Ellis. 

"My Favorite Song" is an anthem for a certain feeling or moment: the feeling you get when you are in holiday-mode and you hear your favorite song. It's this feeling, but set in a carefree Californian daydream, and laced with synthesizers. 

This feel-good, electro-boogie tune comes off a brand spanking new 8-track LP from Brian Ellis entitled Deep Clues, which you can listen to in full over here.
