Boys Noize 4-track EP Nott may not be long, but it is chock full of booty-bouncin' and body swayin' beats. It's hard to escape the pure full-throttle power exhibited by Alex Ridha in any of his studio efforts.
Nott doesn't stop. As the title track leads into a flow of three remixes, the electro-head's dream is born. Synthesizer and heavy bass take over in repetitive sequences, perfect for the dancer in all of us.
This album is perfect for your New Years Eve bash, but the in-your-face acid electronica can be a little much in an average everyday lifestyle. With all up and little down, the 22-minute EP isn't ideal for a day at work or a small dinner party.
But don't fret. Just throw on the glitter, snap those glow sticks to life and head out to the dance floor, because Nott won't let you down.
