Why do we like this?

Bowen is a Chinese-American artist in Houston, Texas, who makes subdued, slow lo-fi songs sound so good. In this song, he perfectly captures the bittersweet feeling of lingering love that’s not quite right. You know, that hazy in-between feeling mixed with soft nostalgia and heavy-headed thoughts. The song is a processing of the complexities of a relationship that comes across in buffered tones.


He put out another song this year, "Company", which is equally as soft and sweet, and he’s got an EP (Godspeed) coming out soon. Looking forward to hearing more chilled vibes from him.
