Why do we like this?
Boreal Network makes no attempts to mask the fact that he sounds just like Boards of Canada. However, unlike some other groups I've heard trying to do the same, this guy nails it. It's almost like having a new Boards of Canada album! And that's a good thing, considering that the Scottish duo is one of my favorite bands. Hell, even his artwork looks like something they'd have put together. Don't let the lack of original sound fool you -- this album is certainly worth the listen.
