I don't know how I've avoided Bonobo for so long, but if you've been doing the same I urge you to turn that around now!
Today I'm sharing 2010's "We Could Forever," taken from Bonobo's critically acclaimed Black Sands. Bonobo joins a host of London-based talents with this release
-- making what could be seen as trip hop or maybe electronica, released on Ninja Tune.
This particular track calls to mind label mate Mr. Scruff, especially with its latin guitars and jazzy rhythms. Black Sands takes in a wide set of genres from across the electronic spectrum, from deep ambient through some dubstep and into the latin/jazz sound of this particular song.
With a riff this catchy, I'm surprised that this track hasn't found its way onto a commercial yet! Does anyone at Apple read this? (Hint, hint.)
