Why do we like this?
And here I sit, professing that writing reviews has lost its job-like feel,and nowseems more like a break from my daily work.Meaning thatthis activity joins a pretty short list ofthings I refer to as Beamies; for their ability to sort me out with a beaming smile, leaving me effervescent.
Getting towrite reviews joins an esteemed cast, my Beamies are:
- Setting light to photos of exes past,
- Putting the aircon to full heat, with rolled up windows, on a hot day, and opening them just as I near passing out,
- Preparing and eating bacon and brussels sprouts.
I hope when you read my reviews in the future that you know it brought me the same subtle joy as those three acts, perhaps even combined.
