Bon Iver Perth (Manila Killa Remix)

Thanks to a tip from Anna Brones over at EcoSalon, I bring you this gorgeous remix of Bon Iver's "Perth" by Manila Killa.

We've featured a lot of Bon Iver remixes here on the site (especially remixes of "Perth"), but this one really nails it. Keeping the original in tact and adding a killer intro and some additional layers of electronic wonder, Manila Killa transformes "Perth" into an upbeat tune that made my afternoon a little more lively.

Manila Killa has been around since 2009, producing and performing dance music in the U.S. as well as in his homeland, Manila in the Philippines. According to the press release for this track, Manila Killa says,

"I was introduced to Bon Iver pretty recently "“ I had heard their music beforehand, but never really payed attention to it. When I had to the chance to really hear their material, I was amazed at the emotion put into each track, I guess that was the inspiration of this one."
