Why do we like this?

Bon Iver's latest effort  22, A Million is good. The track I pinned my "repeat one" ribbon on is "715 - CR∑∑KS," a brief, emotional torrent of vocoder-washed male vocals. It's also good, if not a bit downtrodden.

If there's one type of male vocal that lends itself to groovy dance edits, it's emotional, downtrodden crooning. Zebra Safari did what was most natural, flipping something sad into something sad that you can move your body to while crying on the inside.
