Why do we like this?
Woah, Bibio! Woah! This remix of Bombay Bicycle Club's "Shuffle" is crazy! I haven't heard the tone of a song so substantially changed since, well...I can't remember. It might not be for everyone, but I'm pretty sure this is the type of song that would appeal to our very own Kyle Suss.
Part of my bias may be that these are two bands that I really enjoy. Neither of them are very similar, and I certainly hadn't expected to see Bibio tackle something like this. But the way Bibio twist transforms the original, upbeat song into a haunting, melodic soundscape -- well, that's what makes me stop in my tracks. Really enjoy hearing elements from both bands smooshed into one.
