Bombay Bicycle Club was one of the first bands to make an appearance on Indie Shuffle, so you can imagine that I'm pretty excited about their upcoming album So Long, See You Tomorrow (possibly named for the 1979 novel by William Maxwell).
So far we've heard only one other single from the album, titled "Carry Me." It's a much more experimental single, pushing the boundaries not only of their former sound, but of indie rock in general.
"It's Alright Now" sees the band take a more traditional approach to indie pop, pumping out hooks that will probably sit well with the casual listener. I'm not sure it ranks as one of my favorites ever, but it's certainly satisfied my desire for a good new song today.
The album will be available on February 3rd, and can be pre-ordered here.
