Why do we like this?

Bob Moses is an electronic duo by way of Vancouver BC and New York City.  Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance make up the act which released an EP late last year via Scissor & Thread.

Title track "Far From The Tree" features vocals similar to Simon and Garfunkel; stuttering throughout the track, Howie's voice sets the mysterious, apathetic tone of the house-influenced song.

The smartest part of "Far From The Tree" is likely what is not there.  Many artists feel the need to overdo and overproduce what could be a stellar track for lack of restraint.  Moses' delicate elements waft about and are coupled with the perfect addition of negative space about three quarters of the way through, tying this single together in a beautifully introspective electronic track.
