Why do we like this?
Boards of Canada albums are filled with short little interlude tracks that frontmen Mike Sandison and Marcus Eoin have mentioned are some of their favorite pieces. Wouldn't it be great if one of those great interludes was longer and still carried the same tone?
Introducing the Wrm remix of "Olson." I've always referred to "Olson" from Board of Canada as "my favorite one-minute song," even though it's just a tad bit longer. It's so short, yet so good. Wrm extends my ephemeral happiness to about six-and-a-half minutes on this remix that he has labelled as "cinemtatic dubstep." He kept the best elements from the original, threw them in a loop, and added some additional ambient textures -- need I say more?
