You know it's going to be a good day when Black Butter Records drops another compilation. Spread The Love Vol. 4 is their latest installment and a strong one at that —Vol. 4 not only succeeds in spreading the love, but motivation as well.
The tracks most notable on my list are the deep house bits by BNRY and Goldffinch, but the driving bass tunes provided by Jaded are tantalizing as well, making my decision on which song to feature from the comp a little difficult.
Nevertheless, I've chosen BNRY's "Around You" because I love how it kicks in near the mid section. The lyrics ring out, "I just want to be around you, every minute," and effortlessly twist around the deep bass house beat. It's the most motivating, by way of love, on the comp, and it's got me typing like I'm on a mission.
