One of my personal favorite artists of 2012 is Cosmonaut Grechko. Post after post after post, we fell in love with the young Russian (now 21 year old!), and it's been exciting to listen to him top himself every time.
His latest remix dropped a few days ago and I'm already obsessed. It's free for download, but for those interested in a higher bit rate it'll soon be available on itunes.
Recently, I had a chance to speak to Victor, and what I learned is that he has many exciting things in the works, but I'm to keep them secret. I also learned that his decision to remix "Relapse" has nothing to do with Jhameel. On the contrary, he doesn't particularly care for the vocals. He said, "The original is like 90 bpm. That probably says my thoughts on his vocals." Refreshingly honest, no?
Cosmonaut does happen to be a big fan of Blue Satellite's production. So take a listen to his caffeinated version that's, as he puts it, "a bit too inspired by Todd Edwards," and dance your way to greatness.
