Why do we like this?

Major props to Blue Hawaii on the release of a new EP titled Get Happy/Get Happier. On it are two tracks (as you may have guessed), each a different rendition of the same song.

What starts as a simple folk track on "Get Happy" quickly progresses into something a whole lot more interesting, with bleeps, bloops, and a variety of electronic effects weaving their way into the psyche of the song.

The second track, "Get Happier" sees the Montreal duo apply a "two-step" approach to the track; the net effect being a much deeper electronic sound.
