Why do we like this?

You know when a song gets stuck in your head? This one is going to do that.

This funk-infused debut single comes from a native New Yorker who goes by the awesome name of Blu DeTiger. For a debut single this is insanely good. So much sass and bite! I'd go so far as to say this might be the best example of disco-house you'll ever hear.

Already, even before she's released anything, Blu is backed by some New York local music heavyweights. She's on tour right now with The Knocks, who also produced this track. "In My Head" comes from the same New York independent label that backs the likes of Sofi Tukker and St. Lucia. 

This is one of the most exciting debuts I've heard in a while. When do we get to hear more?
