Why do we like this?
If Blitzen Trapper keeps dropping tracks off their upcoming release American Goldwing, I may not be able to contain my excitement for its full release. The latest single, "Love The Way You Walk Away," veers towards the country side of the folk music spectrum, in the old school campfire ballad style. You'll hear no complaints from me. This sort of heartbreak song -- heartbreak with a swagger, in a way -- is one of the intricacies of country music that one me over to the genre. In classic Blitzen Trapper style -- layers of harmony, Eric Early's meaty vocals -- it's undeniably excellent.
