Blaenavon is a UK three piece making stunningly mature music that belies their teenage years. Influenced by the guitar sound of the early 2000s, Blaenavon released the double A-side
Into The Night/Denim Patches earlier this year to much acclaim from the British music press.
With first EP
Koso due soon, Blaenavon have offered new single "Prague," a gorgeously melodic ride through rich guitars and frontman Ben's intoxicating vocals. There's splashes of Foals, WU LYF, and Bombay Bicycle Club throughout "Prague," but none of these similar sounds overshadow the originality and creativity of the track.
There is much to like about Blaenavon, and if they keep crafting spectacular efforts such as "Prague," it shouldn't be long before these kids start making noise outside of their native England.
