Why do we like this?

In the past I've ranted that Mikey Maramag of Blackbird Blackbird needs to make up his flippin' mind about the musical direction he's headed. Fortunately he keeps dabbling, and the result is a track like this.

"Tangerine Sky" has to be my most-listened to song all week. It's abso-fucking-lutely amazing, and that's my fully subjective and biased opinion. It's times like this that we ought to add a repeat button to the website...

The song will be released on the SF artist's upcoming LP Tangerine Sky, due for release on June 3rd via Om Records.
