Why do we like this?
We're serial fans of Blackbird Blackbird here on Indie Shuffle (check out this Modest Mouse cover, and Kyle's Interview). Thus when a remix of his work by Niva came along, we were inclined to post about it, particularly because it's fantastic listening.
In general, Blackbird Blackbird produces some awesome music. I'm listening to his full album Summer Heart on Bandcamp (stream here) as I write this, and must admit that I find it's less frequent to border on annoying than say, Toro y Moi. Don't get me wrong -- I love me some Toro y Moi, but occasionally he messes up. Blackbird Blackbird isn't infallible, but so far, I've yet to find a song I wanted to turn off :-)
