Why do we like this?

Close your eyes. Listen to this track. Now tell me, what year is it?

You're delirious -- it's 2018, not 1965. But it's not your fault. Blame Blac Rabbit for the confusion. The woozy guitar and vocals sound like twin brothers Amiri and Rahiem are trying to reach you from a distant, LSD-fueled dream. There’s nothing crazy fancy going on in the song -- no flashy riffs, solos, or synthesizers -- and that’s what makes it so special; this is psychedelic rock at its roots.

You might have seen these guys in their viral videos of Beatles covers on the New York subway (which eventually earned them the chance to play alongside Yoko Ono and Ringo Starr last month!), but clearly they are so much more. And this is only their first EP.

Keep your ears open and your eyes peeled when these guys come around or you might just transport back in time.
