Bjear Nell

Influenced by the storytelling and imagery of Icelandic elvish folklore, austere collective Bjear is an Australian slice of the vibrant Nordic musical scene.

The creation of Bear McKee, Bjear finds the instrumentalist joined by a variety of local musicians, blending the gentle folk sounds of Bon Iver with the post-rock grandeur of Sigur Ros, resulting in musical bliss.

First official release, "Nell," is a near six minutes of brooding, soulful goodness that slowly builds to a climatic finale. The delicate and ethereal musicianship of the band provides the perfect base for singer Dan White's mesmorising vocals.
