Why do we like this?

I recently posted about Tennessee electronic duo BIYO after discovering their sensual R&B infused style on "Bliss." They've returned with a new single that shows a more funky, energetic side of their music called "Seasons."

This one's got a Cherub flavor to it with quivering synths, soaring upper-register vocals, and a writhing electric guitar solo. It fizzes with electo-pop hooks and includes an infectious riff that's been stuck in my head all day. Aside from the listenability of the track, it's got a kind of bittersweet pleasantness to the lyrics as well.

After only two releases, I have to say I'm really digging this artist's sound and am excited to see what the future holds for BIYO. Download this track for free on SoundCloud.
