Why do we like this?
From the musical hotbed of Nashville, Tennessee comes R&B-inspired artist Biyo. Though their electronic sound isn't the typical blues and garage rock we've come to expect from the city, they bring a fresh and individual sound.
"Bliss" is a slow-burn groove packed with seductive guitars, subdued, breathy vocals and minimal but submerging chords. Their approach to electronic music is fuzzy and nebulous, stimulating senses in unexpected ways with interesting sonic mixtures.
From what I can tell from SoundCloud, this is their first original track. Hopefully this means there will be more musical goodness coming from BIYO in the near future.
