Why do we like this?

Today marks my first time covering Italian artist BIRTHH as a solo artist. I say that because, well, I picked up on a song that she provided vocals for back in August of last year (YOY's "Infinite").

"Yello/Concrete" is a similarly emotive song, featuring raw and heartfelt vocals over an intricate, orchestral pop inspired instrumental. I've listened to it a good ten times now, and while it's definitely not the next power pop ballad that'll be gracing radio stations worldwide, I think there's certainly something that those of us who appreciate indie music will appreciate.
