Why do we like this?

Despite having a few albums to his name, Big Search is by no means a big name in indie music -- and his newest release won’t be showing up in any of this year’s top lists, a mistake if you ask me.

“Here Comes the Night” is my favorite song there, combining plain guitar chords and some deep drums with a hint of psychedelia that transports you to other spaces, or outer space. Popieluch’s voice on top of some smooth backing vocals, and the simplicity in his lyrics, perfectly complements the addicting melody behind them.

Give it a try and you’ll find yourself listening to the entire album on loop, I know I did.
