The thing that's always attracted me to Big Sean's music is his introspective lyrics. He's never been one to shy away from putting his feelings on wax, and that's plain to hear on "Get My Shit Together."
Released on Friday to celebrate his 28th birthday, Sean discusses where he's at in life and how he needs to get his shit together over Tommy Brown and Mr. Franks' slinking production. "Get My Shit Together" also includes a cameo from Jhené Aiko on the intro along with Sean's familiar metaphors and lyrical wit.
As a wrestling fan, the stanza below had me giddy with excitement, along with displaying Sean's always impressive wordplay;
"When I was young I was addicted to Wrestlemania / Maybe cause I had my back against the ropes / And I grew up Stone Cold just ready to face the Undertaker."
