Big Data is a band composed of Joywave's Daniel Armbruster and Alan Wilkis. Both have been featured multiple times on Indie Shuffle in their own capacity -- and also managed to catch my attention with prior Big Data single "The Stroke Of Return."
This song, however, stands out as one of the best so far.
"Dangerous" is the first single off the duo's upcoming EP titled 1.0 (tentatively due September 24th). The song takes a closer look at voyeurism on the internet; the concept of watching while being watched.
But it's not the message that speaks to me on this one. No, it's the bridge that kicks in around 1:52. Perhaps these guys knew I was a sucker for bridges when they sent this song along for review. Or maybe it was just dumb luck. Either way, the result was a resounding nomination for today's Song of the Day.
