Why do we like this?
I'll be honest: Bibio lost me on his last track "You." I thought it was less than stellar, and actually found myself quite disappointed.
Fact is, Bibio has always been one of my favorite instrumental hip-hop producers, starting some time in 2008 ("Bones & Skulls" and "Lovers' Carvings" are both stand out tracks). And so when I heard "Down To The Sound" this morning, I breathed the biggest sigh of relief. Just hit play and you'll understand.
The song will appear on upcoming EP The Green EP, released January 27th via Warp Records. If you're digging the chilled out vibes as much as I am, be sure to grab your pre-order here.
