Why do we like this?

What's interesting about the new Best Coast album The Only Place is that track 9, "Dreaming My Life Away," appears to have been released as a bonus track all the way back in 2009 on the band's Make You Mine 7".

My best guess is that's why it sounds so different to the mostly-redundant style embodied by the group. In fact, I'm going to go so far as to say that this song is surprisingly pleasant to listen to.
