Why do we like this?

Australian singer/songwriter Benji Lewis has just dropped his debut EP Hearts & Halos, along with its fourth and final single, "Night & Day."

"Night & Day," along with another single "Reach You Where You Are," were written in the dark months after Benji’s mother lost her battle with cancer, and it obvious Benji found a kind of solace in putting these emotions and feelings into his songwriting.

Haunting vocals sour over tight production, textured atmospheric sounds, and swooping synths - communicating a real longing. A heavy, heartfelt song which is very important to listen to.

“Night & Day’ is about the love you have for someone who has known and been there for you, your whole life. It’s a song about unconditional love, and comparing that love to the undoubting belief of night and day”.
