"Under The Layers" features Melodie as the female vocalist, and carries a distinctly Jeff Buckley-esque sound set by the plucked electric guitar and band dynamic.
What captured my attention most was the play between the two vocalists, both weaving in an out of choral type harmonies, moving into harmony with one vocalist taking the alternating lead, to create a piece that continually grows and increases in intensity.
