Why do we like this?

It's really not that surprising to me that BENEE's "Monsta" was one of the most-successful songs on SubmitHub in the last month.

On first listen, I found myself a little bit unsure. At its core, this is clearly a pop song. And yet... as you listen, you'll probably find yourself falling for the melodic progression, the catchy chorus, the the pretty-much-perfect execution.

So yeah, it's pop. But it's pop I can get behind.
