Oh my goodness, I love Beirut. And I absolutely wasn't expecting this today.
Turns out Beirut has a new album in the works, due for release on September 11th via 4AD. It'll be titled No No No (the same as this song), marking their fourth full-length to date.
Personally, I'm digging the upbeat tempo and distinct Beirut sound. It's good to hear something that takes me back to a former time maintain its true essence, and clearly Zach Condon hasn't lost his touch for simple yet authentic folk-pop.
